About Us
Our Team
The Bishop of Truro, the Right Revd David Williams, announced on Advent Sunday "that the Revd Simon Bone, at present holding the Bishop of Truro’s Permission to Officiate in the Diocese of Truro is to be Rector with oversight responsibilities for the Benefice of Lostwithiel parishes in the Diocese of Truro. This is conditional on legal formalities being completed.
He will be instituted and inducted at a place and on a date to be arranged".
We will be delighted to welcome our newly appointed priest, and we thank the retired clergy and lay team who faithfully sustain worship across the benefice during the vacancy.
Catherine Murphy – Benefice Administrator
Catherine is the go-to person for information on baptisms and weddings and memorial stones. She, of course, does much more besides, working for the whole benefice, but these are likely to be your main reasons for contacting her. Catherine works 9am to 11am Monday to Friday in the vestry of St Bartholomew’s Church, Lostwithiel (via North Street gate).
